Sababa Pita Bar

Today I went to Sababa Pita Bar with my friend! I love this place, I have been going here since middle school. Sababa is a Middle Eastern restaurant, the one I went to is by Gongguan MRT Stop in Taipei. Here is their website for more information: http://www.sababapita.com/franchise.php I think the prices are not too bad they are around 150nt or $5usd for one pita sandwich. The prices are a bit pricey at times but I love the food and I think it is worth it. This place to me is also a place for a treat or sometimes special occasions, not something you can go everyday. The food is also quite healthy in the fact that it is not very oily and everything is very natural! You don't feel really stuffed after eating. The feel and the vibe of the place is great! It has a very well of course Middle Eastern feel, very boho and gypsy like. The place is also quite dark, so sorry about the lighting in the photos.

Here is me eating my lovely lamb shawarma which is shaved lamb with hummus, tomatoes, lettuce and mint yogurt
Here is the sign outside of Sababa
Here is what the outside looks like

We also went to the book store today to see if there was anything we wanted to get! I got two book that I have been dying to get my hands on which are two books from Cassandra Clare. I got "Clockwork Angel" from "The Infernal Devices" Trilogy and also "City Of Bones" from "The Mortal Instruments" series. I am so excited to read these! Especially "City Of Bones" mostly because the movie is coming the end of this August! I can't wait to see the movie! It has one of my favourite actresses as the main protagonist aka, Lily Collins. I love her! I think she is so beautiful and she reminds me of a modern day Audrey Hepburn. Hopefully I will be able to add these to my to reads list for the summer and still get to all the other books I wanted to read! I have till mid September to read all before school starts so hopefully I'll have plenty of time! I am just so excited!

Summer Essentials: Skater Skirt

I love skater skirts! I think they are really cute and simple for the summer! You can pop on any kind of top from a sweater to a crop tee and anything goes! I personally love wearing skater skirts because they are light and simple. Also very flattering for any kind of body type! It hugs the waist well and just flares out and give the appearance of a small waist.
I think they are a great summer essential because skirts for me at least have always felt lighter and gave me more of a breeze and also it goes with any top!

There are SO MANY different kind of skater skirts so whatever your style is you can always find one that suits you the best and your wardrobe

I hope you stay cool this summer and have fun with your outfits

Simple Summer Outfits

The one thing I don't like about summer is that I cannot layer my outfits especially since I live in Taipei, Taiwan and it is extremely humid and hot here. It feels like 40C and the humidity is around 80%. Layering is out of the picture.

But that doesn't mean that you have to look super plain with denim shorts and a really generic t-shirt to stay cool this summer. I found some great outfit ideas that are super cute, super fun and also is light and great to beat the summer heat!

You'll be amazing how great a tank and shorts look when you have the right combo and mix it up with your materials! You don't always have to stick with denim. I hope you get some inspiration from these outfits like I have! Stay cool this summer and have fun~!

Trends: Green

This year it is all about going Green!
I personally love the colour green, it feels fresh, clean and healthy
This S/S season has three greens

I love the mix of pastel mint to lime green with this season colours! Also Emerald green 2013's offical colour! It's that awesome to represent this year with this years colour! I don't own a lot of green but I do really enjoy the mint colour and the whole pastels from this season. Pastels are one of my favourite colours, they are very light and are not harsh on the eyes and it reminds me of arts class using pastels. Another great thing about green is that with the right shade it goes with every colour which is great for matching the perfect outfit.

Trends: Black and White

I have been really digging the S/S 2013 B&W Monochrome style trend.
Though I would have never thought that black and white would be something for the warmer weather but ahhh who cares. That is just how the fashion world works!

Black and White has such a wide range of style that it suits everyones tastes.
From more modern and chic to grunge and rock.
No matter what your style is black and white will always go with everything and it is also great together! I love stripes I think that it is very flattering on the body.

Black and White is also timeless, as trends come and go from season to season B&W will always be there no matter what the season or the style.

I found some great B&B striped shirts and bottoms at H&M, Zara, Forever 21 and Topshop if you want to find some pieces to bring into your wardrobe.

They will never go out of style!
